Acceptable Use

Rules that protect MailDrop, its users, email infrastructure, and third parties.

Allowed use

Legitimate privacy, QA, CI, onboarding, OTP, notification, and software-testing workflows are allowed within plan limits.

Prohibited use

  • Spam, phishing, malware, fraud, impersonation, harassment, or illegal activity.
  • Bypassing account restrictions, service limits, verification protections, or third-party access controls.
  • High-volume scraping, resale, or automated account creation that harms another service.
  • Testing systems without permission.
  • Attempting to access another MailDrop organization, inbox, message, API key, or webhook secret.

Enforcement

MailDrop may rate-limit, suspend, close, or investigate accounts and resources used for abuse.
